Insert recorded steps in current document (Google Docs, Notion, e-mail, etc)

Usually when I create a user guide I have already opened a document and wrote some introductional stuff in it. Usually it is in Notion but it can be an email.
Instead of generating a new document and copy/paste the steps from it, I'd like to be able to insert the recorded steps in my document (simulate a copy/paste from Google Docs or HTML without document header)
